$1/Gallon at Petco

As exciting as it is, up to 55 gallon at $1 a gallon, I'd still like to see tanks larger than that go at that same price range. You can't even find a used 75 gallon for under $100, or used 120 gallon for less than $200 and so on. I understand the glass gets thicker but omg already with the high prices of aquariums.

i have a buddy that just bought a used 75 off craiglist with a fluval304 and HOB filter for 80 bucks. Lucky SOB
 
i got a 75 and stand for 50 bucks with hob filters. then the next week i got a fluval 304 brand new in the box never used, 29, 10, 5, many filters and heaters, and alot of turtle and reptile stuff like floating dock, heat mat, heat lamp, etc for FREE. it was the best week ever.

closest petco is 50 mins away. roadtrip for a forty breeder!!! or two.. darn my MTS

oh and as for the prices of the glass top. make your own lid with plexiglass. its much cheaper.
 
I got the 40B! Asked 3 employees why the sale was going on twice in one year an they couldn't tell me what was going on, didn't have signs for it like last time either.

Haha, my lfs has $1 per gallon all the way to 75g.
