My babys feeding
Interestingly enough they don't bother the gold fish and actually the goldies usually take turns eating with them.

welcome to MFK and those are awsome piranha. i wonder how long theyll keep theyre goldfish "buddies"

Very cool! Hungry little guys. LOL

if you want feeder fish in with them i say get convicts they are good for piranhas and they breed very easly and gold fish are not good for piranhas

Thanks for the tip I agree they are making my tank gross and too big to eat right now.

yarrr nice p's but get the goldfish outta there

at that size they should be eating live blackworms you will see way fast growth.

not just because they're gross, but because goldfish secrete high levels of thiaminase, it inhibits the p's ability to metabolize b vitamins if they eat cypronids like goldfish. Cichlids and tetra are ok.

luckydemonz told ya right

also, while we're at it. Salmon is not ideal for the piranha diet. It's high in fish oils. Piranhas eat any sort of white fleshed fish with relish. Salmon is fine, just don't make it a staple.

WELCOME!

Nice P's Don't get me wrong salmons good for them also catfish nuggets. Down side too that is they are high in fish oil & fat one bad number on the tank & filters ex. If you see white slime on the filter media it's a cache of oils & fats.

Get's your aquarium dirty in no time & should start off with baby guppies as live feeders less mess or even fathead minnows from LBS. Goldfish are carp great cleaners, but bad for aquariums high nitrates - diseases wise.

Just a heads up NO Flaming. like the setup & GL with the baby RBP's bud

That age freeze dried foods will do them some good like... Mixed diets Tetra Plankton, Blood Worms, Krill or carnivore pellets will boost their growth & color and you should see decent results within a few months putting on inches and some body mass.
