1 INCH RED BELLY'S FEEDING

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks for the replies guys I got rid of the goldfish. I have been feeding the P's cichlid pellets, mini-crabs, blue fish someone gave me like 3 years ago salmon a few times and flakes.

The problem I have with the smaller stuff is it just sinks to the bottom and the idiots dont eat anything off the bottom. I like the cichlid pellets best because after they get soggy the fish seem to rip them apart nicely and everyone gets a share.

edit:
Im checking the site now on how to breed convicts as feeders I setup a 10 gal. alot of people tend to think they work well. any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks again.

I have convicts that im breeding its pretty easy get them some fake plants, small clay pots and females are the ones with a colored belly like reddish and males are just striped make sure its clean water and you can put the heat on and they eat what ever you through in and petsmart they have them for 3 dollars each

cons are simple to breed as someone once said, not sure who, but they will breed in a puddle. but anyways dont put the cons in with the p's tho when they are that small the cons will kill them. that makes me miss my lil guys. when i get a extra tank imma get some again.
they are gunna grow to be some beauties. but u could get some bigger bodied tetras to keep them from turning on each other or some sort of cheap dither with lots of finnage for them to chew on. because they will always just chew away fins rather then meat.

when a piranha eats a goldfish there are bad chemicals in in goldfish these chemicals prevent the piranhas from growing properly

That age freeze dried foods will do them some good like... Mixed diets Tetra Plankton, Blood Worms, Krill or carnivore pellets will boost their growth & color and you should see decent results within a few months putting on inches and some body mass.

My P's wont eat freeze dried because it floats. They wont eat anything that floats...
