Hey guys, I'm just curious if I can use 1 inch thick Blue Styrofoam under my tank as insurance for any irregularities in my stand? The tank I'm using is an AGA 125 gallon standard tank with a raised trim.

I'm not sure if 1 inch is too thick or not.

Thanks

I would think that this would be enough...., but I am not positive....

Glasscages requires only a 3/4" sheet for their warranty...that's about all the info I have on it. Hope that helps.

I am not sure you can buy 3/4" sheet. I thought only 1/2 or 1 inch

Just be safe and use the 1"....., it probably isn't much more than the 3/4" (if it even exists) better safe than sorry.....

Agreed.
I use 1" under all my tanks, would never go without it.
Helps with irregularities as well as insulates, works great.

Here's a 210 with 1" under it (mine comes in pink), sump has it as well.

lol i have a 120 sitting on 4 blocks... one on each corner??? for about a year and a half now???

oops.......OH the foam goes on the bottom???, BTW it gets filled one a month and there is a 900goh pump curculating the water, the foam keeps the water warm, the condensation in and the dust/dirt out...

its just for water changes...

How pretty, the scrubbies are all organized by color and placement. :D
