Hello everyone!!
I'm a 26 yo guy who just started out this hobby randomly... and yes, it was a rainy day!!
In my country, we mostly drive bikes (Vietnam), crowded and polluted. Driving back home from work, soaked and tired, and I was driving slower than my usual pace. My head was full of thoughts, drifting away from my busy current life where I have to deal with graphs and numbers all day everyday. Being an FX dealer for a bank has sucked me dry, lifeless. In my sea of thoughts, somehow, drifted me to the street which they call "fish market street". Dramatically, a loud "BANG" of thunder woke me up back to reality, and there I am, where my new journey begins.
I think it was fated that I ended up there. So I began to choose my very first tank, a small, cozy 5g tank. Then I loaded it up with some of my new friends, small yet so much energy. Without any knowledge of raising fish in an aquarium, or how to set up a tank, water, filter, I just went ahead and do it. Needless to say, they were all dead the very next morning. I was really upset since I don't know what went wrong. My excitement has been killed off so fast. So I headed back to the LFS and look for more. Then I found this funny good looking little guy which the LFS called "dinosaur fish". It caught my interest, however, it was a little bit expensive. So I went home and do my homework before purchasing. 2 days of research, and 1 week of lurking on MFK, here are what I have now.
