As a shark person, I'll tell you guys the photo is REAL. Great whites aren't just cold water sharks.
However, if it's with the email claiming it's a guys friend after saving it from a net, with other pics of guys 'petting' it.... that is a LIE. The pics of 'petting' are really from a different study done to document the sensory abilities of the rostrum (nose). It's not a new thing by any means.

Lol yea thats what the email I got said that the shark was his friend lol I suspected that was bogus .

Ive seen a great white attacking seals off the coast of cape cod MA and another one got stuck in a tidal pool for a while.... it was a fairly deep pool like 15ft and the size of a football feild but surrounded by shallow water the shark must have gotten confused or just unlucky and was trapped in there until the tide came in and it swam out big thing too 13+ feet

Oh thats is wild I would love to see that but imagine a scarey thing to see
