If you were to get a security window from a gas station that would be even better :)

I would like to point out this in articles :) and being that Acrylic is said to be 10 x's stronger than glas i would say you should be fine .. but i'm just reading what someone else did with about ten times the water you are going to be using, correct?

Second paragraph under the 12th picture.. And his were going up 5' if i am reading correct :)

Anything over 36" requires 1" anything between 24" and 36" requires 3/4 so your good if you do not exceed 47 inches. But usually when people use acrylic in a pond type setting, the use the water pressure to help hold the acrylic window. Are you going to silicone and screw the acrylic to the wood frame?
