didnt know bowfin bring in that kind of cash, the chain-o-lakes area up here in southern michigan swarm with this fish, we call them dogfish though, ive spent all my years fishing, killing these fish along with all the other local fishermen, because the bowfin destroy and eat all the other gamefish in these lakes, i feel cruel now knowing theres a market for these fish, instead discarding these fish and oaring them the death, i should help the cause of filling peoples aquariums, shame on me.
