I do remember your old Haitiensis. Whatever happened to it? I think you should get get one ;-)

I lost him when my wife and I moved a few years back. He was a hardy fish at this point. He was a good size pushing three years old. I even went as far as to move close to 50% of the water from the old aquarium to the new house. He never ate again after the move and died a couple months later...?

Great looking specimen. He looks every bit of 9", I would have guessed he was at least 12". I really like the head on shots showing how thick he is. I really like the coloring and pattern on his forehead and upper body from those shots, too. Very cool fish.
