10” albino Florida gar stopped eatunh

Hi, I have a 10 inch albino Florida gar that was eating perfectly but has not taken any food for the last two-three weeks. I have had it for a couple of months now

He’s still swimming around and active. Doesn’t actually look to have lost any weight in that time but I am a little bit concerned.

The fish was eating chopped prawns but has stopped now. Water parameters are good, other than low kh but the tanks ph is stable, everyone else in the tank including an albino pearl Ray are eating

I have epsom salt bathed him twice and dosed prazi in a hospital tub but still no interest

Any help would be so so appreciated

In my experience some fish will stop eating due to health but if gar is healthy and behavior is normal I wouldn't worry. I've had fish do that and after a few days start eating again.

I have one smaller albino florida gar that is difficult to feed but I find he cannot resist a chopped lancefish where i squeeze it near him so the oily fishy smell must peak his interest, put it near his mouth and he swipes it

Maybe he is just bored of prawn
