Right on. Im downsizing and planning a nice smaller planted setup. Possibly Iwagumi. Ive always been successful with my previous planted tanks. Im thinking either a 40G breeder or a 20G long. I love the rimless look but Im a big fan of wood canopies. I like to keep the light contained rather than light up the whole room. But yours looks awesome. Also great job of documentation and keeping us updated!!

Yeah, I love the rimless look, but the light scatter can be a big issue. The light from this tank almost lights up two living rooms, imagine if I were using metal halides My hands are always in the tank though, so having a wood canopy would be a hassle for me. Can't wait to see the tank

beautiful! id love to do a co2 tank, but my previous planted tank grew too fast for me. lol. plus too expensive.

thanks! But it's not the co2 that makes the plants grow fast, it's the light. Decrease the light, plants grow slower
