Ok so im getting a 10 foot by 30" wide by 2 foot deep, And i want a cichlid community.
I already own 2 oscars and i am interested in these fish;
Midas, Flowerhorn, Texas, Umbee, Black belt, Male Jaguar(must have), and a Jack dempsey, I would prefer male fish due to better finnage and colours but i dont want fish that fight too bad
Please tell me what fish will work thanks I am open to any ideas and input would be greatly appreciated.

FH +JD+ Midas

I think im going to have to forget the umbee unless it was just one of them in there lol, seriusly underestimated that fish.
So flowerhorn would be ok??

yeah minus FH, umbee (and you didnt mention it but thought id mention dovii) you could put one of each of those guys in there and be fine, and from what iv heard others say on here as long as all there fish were male and they didnt have a female to fight over they were actually relatively peaceful, oh and i think a male festae added to that mix would also be SWEET

yeh festea would be sweet:nilly: am defo gettin one so what happens if one of the fish is female?
And im gettin all the fish quite small bout 1" cos i got two 3" oscars and i know oscars are wimps so i thought i would give them a head start!
Also how do i know if a jag cichlid is male because i want a purple one (are the purples male?) so will i be able to tell at a young age or should i wait till the fish are larger and buy an adult?

if one is female then a male may pair with her and they will break up the relative peace in the tank though with a tank that size it probably wouldnt be that big of an issue, and i dont know of a purple jag i think you are thinking of the ones with blue on their fins and backs? those are honduran jags and only way to get one is for aquamojo to send some fry to rapps and you order them from him, you can tell male from female jags by their spots, males spots will break up into smaller "jaguar" pattern and female will retain big juvie spots, best bet would be to get several of each kind when they are small and then slim down the numbers to the best looking male of each type that will give you the best shot of them all getting along
