danios would work, but they wouldnt be as happy as if they had a bigger tank. my danios in my 29 gallon use every square inch of it. i would get a school of small tetras and maybe a honey gourami as a center peice, but thats just me. and maybe some pygmy cories for the bottom

Not tetras, a gourami, and cories. Pick two out of three. I have a 10 gallon with 3 red phantoms and 2 julii cories, and everything's fine.
