How many pygmy's could she do in the tank and will the fish eat them?

In a 20 L I'd go with 2 Rams, 6-7 neon tetras, and 4-5 of the smaller cories like hastatus, pygmaeus, pandas, julii, or something like that.

When i had my ten gallon tank i made it heavily planted and put 7 harlequin rasboras in it. To this day they will always be my favourite schooling fish. They look awesome! A Ten gallon tank is also a great environment for a betta fish a typically hardy fish that is really low maintenance

Well it's changed from a 10 gal to a 20 gal long . And also something that eats anything

i'd sub out the neons for rummy nose tetras personally, nice colours, generally healthier, and a shy personalty similar to rams

peacock gudgeons would be perfect, they only get 1 inch, not shoaling, but peaceful and inquisitive, very nice purples and blues to boot
