10 gallon tank and cory fish

I would stick with one dwarf gourami. If you get more than one in a 10gl they may fight unless they are a pair. Guppys would be fine aswell with them.

If you want corys, go with Corydoras pygmaeus. They max out at 1.3in, so basically an inch. You could have a nice school of them, and could even get them to breed in a 10gl.

Angels would be to big.

A 10 gallon for an Angel isn't a good idea, Angels get quite tall and need room to spread their fins. A 10 gallon is too short for an Angel.

I think a small school of even regular sized cory cats would be fine, maybe 3.

A good algae eater for a ten would be, Oto cats. They stay really small. I would go with a couple of glow light tetras and a nice looking male beta.
