10 inch bichir new 3 inch raphael thoughts

I have read from several sources that Bichirs will predate during the night. My Senegals are active during different portions of the day and night.

If i had to guess the new cats are probably viewed as an unwanted outsider or just something he doesnt like about the raphs. These fish are weird man. For some reason my ornate hated the jur but left a vulture cat alone.

Fish are weird... the most accurate statement I've read lol... my syndontis HATED my walking cat... why? No clue... I doubt he had a reason... just thought "hey! I'm gonna torture this guy" lol
 
Caught one of the raphs while doing the waterchanges in the fish room and put it in my 110 with a pair of Jack's... will havto wait it out for the other guy to show himself and do the same... so I'm hopeing in 20 years when they hit 7 or so inches LOL I can put them into the 210 and are big enough to coexist with the monsters

I know the thread is old but thought I'd give an update!

Could never catch the second raph I put in but I think he showed the bichir not to mess with him lol.
It's now been 2.5 months and hes grown double in size... a little more than an inch longer I'd say but thick as hell haha head and body atleast twice the size now

Here's a pic of him... first 2 months he never came out of his hiding spot
(in the same hiding spot as the bichir)
Now he swims all over the place
