10 inch Myersi update

Jweav that is one stunning myersi, I'm totally impressed and just made up my mind to keep this species again. You did a great job growing him out, do you plan on getting a mate for him or will he be a permanent wet pet?

Thank you ira! I have two 7inch females that I could try to pair him up with but more than likely I will just keep him as a wet pet. I do have another pair divided in a 125gal. that I have been trying to breed. Been close a few times with the female dropping her breeding tube all the way down but after about 4 or 5 days she gets to banged up and I end up dividing them again. I will post another video of them soon because that male which is almost as big as the male in this video has a very different color pattern than the male that is not exposed to a female.

I find it amusing that there are these great, beautiful cichlids that no one pays attention to becuase they are dull at the LFS at the small sizes they come in at.
