Yes beautiful, I consider them jawdropping. I mean if you were to see them (deep water) in an aquarium swimming around, you would stop.

I consider them beautiful fish too because they have amazing evolutionary adaptations. They're a great example of how amazing and wonderful life is when confronted with a seemingly uninhabitable location.
Then again I'm the one who's hoping to become a paleontologist someday, so I might be a little weird.

A 2 meter viperfish?!?!?! I must see pictures of that! I think some of the sizes listed are a little bit too big, but most of them still don't look too friendly. Very cool!

here is my most diabolical fish ever.I know its not fanged or evil.
Im sure alot of fish keeper have had troubles with these guys.

Usualy its due to lack of knowledge as well to be fair.

those angler are awesome fish, I'd try and get one but I don't think I can get a 10000 gal tank to make it worth it. I could never put him in a small tank, they're way too sexy for that

the last eel's pics made me chuckle, the should have tried to get some more menicing pictures of have him to have them featured in their diabolical fish article. The first one looks like he's smiling, .... maybe he's hatching his evil plan to take over the world.
