basic rule is 20 gal per red. still, i have 5 in a 77 and they do well...there is one that will probably be killed by his friends, but you often have a weak one in a shoal so i guess this is due to natural survival of the fittest. but yeah i think 4-5 would do well as bogwoodbruce said.
Yey! I got a mention LOL.:nilly:

3 or 4 piranhas at the most for a 75 gallon tank

any pics ewurm!?!

iu also agree w/ the above...3 in a 75 is about all your gonna get. dont let there initial small size fool you.

i've kept 9 in a 90gal for 3 years they grew to about 8-9 inch didnt lose any and only had a fluval 405 so maybe 7 in a 75 is ok keep them well feed

Are talking piranha or sardines. Although you may have gotten away with this, it is not recommended. Stick with 3-4 RBPs in a 48" 75g tank.

We have a 12"er at the store in a 40 breeder, that fish is messy by itself.

12"!?!?!

the absoulte absoulte biggest ones i've ever seen were 11" and other than those nothing over 9"ish-i'd like pics personally-not saying i don't beleive you, just that i'm haveing trouble beleiving it...

i wouldn't not do more than 5 adult rbp in a 75 gal-just noth enough space.
