ok, so i understand that 2 or 3 arowanas will fight but 9 or 10 will get along? Yesterday i bought 10 silvers that are about 7 inches long i put them in a 150 that was full of tiny baby guppys. until our monster tank is finshed. What a show the arowanas love guppys so they are all doing fine and i cant wait to watch them grow. what an amazing fish.

They'll grow quite a lot in that 150, allthough not for life. Would be fun if you got a pair in a couple of years..and yes, 10 should not fight
Is it true .I herd that if you buy 10 or 12 fish you should get at least one male and one female? who knows.
Have been working on a tank in my basement approx 1500- 2000 gallons glass is 62" x 54" what a job but it's comming wondering about filtration? any ideas thanks
With that many aros you should get one male and one female, but with the dimensions you have, you will need to thin your numbers down quite a bit. For that many aros I'd do at least 8'x5'.
