If I was you I would go with a eheim 2028 or a via aqua.The via aqua is a good filter for the price,I think it is 79.99.It can be a little tricky to prime but its a good filter,what is a extra 3mins.I dont like Fluval or rena to much.Eheim is the best to me.

I installed this Ocean Clear model 354 polybead filter on my girlfriend's oscar tank a while back. This thing is really impressive. Keeps the water crystal clear, and you backflush it to clean it. You never have to take it apart. Does mech. and bio, all you need.
