use the doors on the stand as a reference to judge the width of the tank. if the stand holds a 48" tank, the doors itself are maybe 18" wide, the tank is not as wide as the doors. i would put money that this is a 55g. still, for $150, you cant go wrong. to the op, just make sure you get dimensions first. i do a lot of buying and refinishing aquariums and some ppl are clueless about the actual gallon size.
it looks closer to a 75....
i have 2 with the exact same stand and canopies.. but for 150 its still a good deal..
they are just petco/petsmart stands btw.. but look nice and work fine

Good looking out. I have a call into the lady and she doesn't have the dimensions on hand but confirms it is a 100 gallon. If it's 55gallon I don't think I will spend that much on it. I have two in my basement that I got for free. I'll offer less and take the filter. She is willing to wait for me to get off vacation to pick it up though so that makes it an even better deal.
Ok guys you got me really looking but the tiles on the floor in the picture are 12 inch tiles. So it looks like it is a 55 gallon. I have a request in for the dimensions.

hey good luck with the sale and make sure to let us know how you made out. honestly, if i were you. i would, in a very polite way (just make sure it is a 55g before hand) tell her the correct size of the tank. offer her like $75-$100. keep what you need then put the tank, stand, lids and lights back for sale. more than likely you will get your money out of it. just clean it up really nice and make it look great

Thank you Creepyoldguy. I was kind of leaning that way myself. I have already talked to her and she has a little one on the way so she will need the space and she is very cool with keeping it until I get back from vacation. You can never have to many tanks. Plus I have a buddy who is looking for a 55. So I may give him a deal on this tank and hook him up with a different stand.
