I am looking for a 100 gallon tank. I want the stand and filters(dont care for the rocks). Any have a good estimate it will cost me. I want a used one. And craigslist.com is over priced so if you know wht it shld cost about plz tell me.

i bought my 100 for 200(included the stand, hood and lights.) but it was sold as an 84 gal, so it was cheaper

if you can't find a deal on craigslist...well good luck is all i'll say. i got a 220 w stand delivered to my house for $200 off there.

i got my 125s for 200 each with stands and all that jazz and my 120 was 300 delivered

I recently saw a 125 gal w/ stand, glass tops & basic lights for $500 brand new...

A couple years ago I bought a 120 w/ stand, glass tops & lights for $300 used... I recently sold it for the same price...

I've foud for used tanks...

Smaller tanks generally go for $1 per gallon... larger tanks generally go for a little more...

Stands usually sell for about the same as the tank...

I put little value on used equipment as more often than not used equipment I've gotten has been damaged or excessively worn or otherwise problematic... lights not included...

PS - While Craigslist is a good place to search for used tanks, you may also want to see abotu a local fish club. There are several in Ohio.

Don't forget your local newspaper. I have bought 2 tanks from hobbyist who were truly desperate for money. One was a college student who was in need of money to buy his books. The other guy had just gone through a divorce and was in a financial rut. They both ran ads in the newspaper and i got great deals.

news papers are where the a lot of the amazing deals are... also check out yardsales and estate sales.. even the monthly storage center auctions can have amazing finds from time to time..
