I appreciate the honesty and i thought the same thing, but i dont know what to do about them :( if you have any suggestions ill gladly take them!
How about a thin layer of moss between the front glass and hydroballs?
 
Very nice man as for the wood I'm sure the wood will soak up some water and wick it up but it's not going to do that much someone with more experience can correct me if I'm wrong, what do you plan to put in there as far as pets? How deep is the water? If deep enough could maybe do a cpl archer fish watch em shoot down some bugs or dart frogs but remember they arnt the best swimmers

Oh and one question, will wood touching the water cause wicking like the water being too close to the dirt?

Sure, but I would think it eventually would be over saturated and no longer be able to absorb any more moisture.


BTW, that layout looks fantastic now! Great job! Just get the fogging effect in there and perhaps a DIY rain "maker". What critters are you planning to home in there?
