I have tried looking for smelt but have yet to find it, the ghost shrimp was just for fun.

i don't ever recall seeing the black worm keepers at the LFS i have seen the worm feeders tho.

il try and hunt one down tomorrow. damn and there cheap to! my luck i will not be able to find them.
 
You can always order them off that website. That link has them for sale right on it.

In the mean time you can use like food containers like these. Just make sure that there is enough water to keep them submerged but enough so they can strech to the surface to breath. Also make sure you leave the lid off so they can breath too. Just get them out of that bag or they are all going to die on you.

You should be able to find frozen 1lb bags of smelt at any of your local grocery stores/ supermarket.

with no lid wont they try and get out? or can they not reach that far? reason i ask , because they have come out of the water and come around the bag all the way to the top, i will be killed by my wife if there are worms in her fridge
 
They wont get out, I have never had them escape and have had them in containers only a couple inches high. I have had my brother knock the container over and my mom almost killed me, but that was about it.

So don't knock them over and you should be safe from your wife.
 
Ok got them switched over and let a few go in the main tank as well.

LOl, my mom said the same thing. Good way to get free fish supplys though.

:ROFL: :ROFL: works for me! but i'm still going to try and find some of the keepers, i have enough worms to fill a couple of those up at least. i had to use a very large Tupperware container

Your LFS should be able to order them for you, mine had one and I had them order more for me. You can also just get them off that link. It does take quite a few for a lot of worms since they only hold 6ounces, but it is so easy to clean them in those.
 
Ya im going to order 4 i think.

i got 1 pound of black worms so IMO is alot! lol but i will have them when the new rays arive!
