The lince is one of the softest fish in the tank everything beats on it but it's just to fast

If it goes in the tigrinus space it will snap at it
1 12 inch IT hates it and is always snapping at it
The aro is fine with it in the day but light out the aro will follow it around and around

Lice real peaceful

A-freaking-mazing!

Wow i figured id would of been the other way around. To bad not to many of them floating around.

The problem with lince is they need to keep moveing like a shark and the smallest I have seen them imported at is 12inch
The death rate is meant to be 50% which makes them rare
They are cheap to buy but it's the shipping that costs a 12 inch lince is 1 fish per box and it's a very big box
Even if you move them a short distance it's a gambe
They also need a massive tank I would even say my tank is to small
Mine is about 20-22 inch long now and I have had it one year and got it at 16inch so they do grow fast max size is about 3 ft

They are such a great and peaceful fish it's just a same they grow so fast and so big or I think a lot more people would own them

And back to the ST I have had it nearly 8 years now and if anything ever happened to it I would never get another as for me it's what I class as the perfect ST perfect stripes full neck band and never goes unstable and it has the perfect colour
The strange thing is when he was 2 inch the body shape was not that great even at 14 inch he was a bit to long but once he started eating pellets he grew very fast and now for me he's as good as you can hope for

I love the tank man one of my favorites on the site. I am not sure about the final size of linces but what are you going to do with him when he is full grown, because he is almost making that tank look small

Great tank and awesome ST. Anyone who has owned one should consider themselves fortunate. They are a great fish to own. When you watch them it seems there is something more going on its mind than other fish.
