1000 gal tank project

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
most of the work should be finished this weekend with just the cab doors and tank frame to get sprayed

Looks like a good build, best of luck. Subscribed! :)

This post is gonna have me hooked, last year i got our 'summer house' erected, with full intention of a big tank, its still a shell inside but im planning on this year building approx 8-9 feet long, 4 feet front to back and about five feet high. how are you gonna heat the tank? im thinking of heating the 'room' firstly and the tank secondly using, i guess the biggest 'hobby' size heaters i can find. any help would be greatly received.

Just read your thread,
Very impressive! Would love to come and see the finished result, its inspirational to see some one posting on here with both big plans and the enthusiasm and ability to undertake and complete such a project. Also much food for thought for any of us considering big tank builds with the use of " all Glass " at a reasonable cost (considering you didnt do construct the glass section yourself)
