1000 gallon build

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I got alot of work done today. I finished the plumbing, and built a pump house for the pump system outside the building. Tommorrow I will install the pump and filter, and if I have time I will try to buy the gravel. I plan on filling the tank soon. I think It will be best to fill the tank with about 200 gallons per day to give the tank time time to settle. (because its a wood frame) Then I will insulate the outer walls and cover the outsides with plywood. Unfortunatly I left my camera at home today so I will post more pics tommorrow.

well done on the tank.
youve inspired me to build a tank like this.
on a bit of a smaller scale though.
great job.

So, this is what 1900 pounds of aquarium gravel looks like. Anybody live near by?
