Hey, how about a link to where you can buy that inline heater; I've also seen where guys will plumb a line off their hot water heater and run coils in their sump, and then return it back to their hot water heater;

Don't forget the link to that heater!

Being that the tank is inside the house wouldn't 100% of the heat lost by the tank supplement and reduce the bill for the normal home heating? I imagine that an aquarium isn't as efficient a heater as a furnace or whatever else you use to heat the house but I'm curious how much extra it actually costs.

That's a good point! or if you keep your house temps at 75 and 75 is okay for your fish then additional heating is not required. Actually with submersible pumps and lighting and this being an acrylic tank (very good insolation) I bet the water temps would go up to 77 at least? Basically free heating.
