1000 gallon indoor pond!!FILTERATAION?

Ok so I am currently building a 1000 gallon pond demensions are 120X80X28 and I will be using 2000 watts of heaters to heat it and was wondering what I should use for filteration my plan was using 4 FX5s and a Cascade1500 all combined flows about 3000gph is this enough or should I add a 55 gallon sump also? WIth a 1000 gph return pump?


And my stock will be a RTC, RTCXTSN, MArblePIM, albino channel cat, 3 claris cats, TSN, Lima, Silver arow, 3 florida gars and possibly some of my rays,

pool filter high flow sand filter cheaper and WAY LESS maintenance If I get a channce Ill pots pics of mine Iam building now when i take them ...good for 10, 000 gallons even do your water changes this way

pool filters need to have the L taken off, poo filters. not worth a damn. i would def. go with the 55 sump. i have a 35gallon trickle and im adding in a 90 sump also, my stock list is similar. are you going to put a top on it to keep the aro in? another thing is you wont need that much heat if you insulate it. mine is 1200 gallons and im only running about 1k watts.

really I know for a fact that larger reef aqauria use them as well as many ponds tha tdo as well the bio load cant be beat for any wet dry such as this 20 k reef that was built using sand filters ...go behind any pet smart they use sand filters ...dont know where you get your info from http://www.atlantismarineworld.com/articles/08-AdvancedAquarists-FeaturedAMW.pdf

sounds good mate the fillteration sounds ok mabey add 1 Fx when fish get arounds 30"+ so 3 years time would work other then that u might lose the clarius catfish lol
