have her take close up picture of all the joins, espcially the side and bottom joins... make sure the join look completely clear with no small cracks or tiny bubbles inside the join.

I have seen this tank on ebay before. It apparently belonged to some pro basketball player. It was a long time ago when I read about it though, so she must not have sold it.

if it was built by a reputable company i wouldn't worry about it being 1in thick acrylic

looks like they dropped the price a little...

no one was buying it because u can get a brand new one for about 7k

900 lbs, gives me a hernia just thinking about moving that bad boy. Nice Tank.

I moved my 500 glass tank (1K lbs) with just myself and my sister on the watch. Its easy to do as long as you keep it simple.

I herd from another tank manufacturer that the acrylic should be 1 & 1/4 thick as one of you has posted. He also informed me that even with the bracing if you do not use the correct thickness, it's only a matter of time.
The current owner has had the tank for four years and um assuming the owner previous to that had it for a good while too.
Does anyone know the life expectancies on a tank this big ?
They do not know who the tank manufacturer is so thats another concern< if it was Tenecor I'd be more inclined.
I guess I have some thinking to do...... and for the record, Tenecor wanted 10K and a builder in my city quoted 12k, no where near 7k as posted by another member.....
My budget is 5K but was expecting alot more filtration and goodies, so all let you guys know if I "Monster Tank Club"........lol

First off..... I want to know what this guy is doing posturing like this in the tank....

Secondly, I think the acrylic is too thin for 1.) the length of the tank 2.) the amount of volume/pressure on the panels.

** btw, that lady creeps me out in the picture! **
