Around.....
Hello all just got my first big tank and was wondering what I should do for filtration.... I wanna do a fresh water set up and was wondering what would be the easiest and most cost effective....plan on having some bichir and maybe an arro. Please need help and suggestions!!!

Thanks

I have no idea but its good that you have a 100 gl tank I wish I had that. I would tell you to go ask your closest lfs. I have one that is close to me here in missouri and they have a arrowana fish tank but i don't know where there number is at I will try looking it up for you so you can call and ask. K.

Laters

Okay I was hesitant about doing that after the lfs funny stories thread lol

a magnum 350 works good for 100 gal. easy to maintainence not to expesive either.
make sure you get the activated carbon container with it , and I would suggest a sponge
bio filter also large size, this means you will also need an air pump

Would a lfs have all this stuff or would it be better to order it online?

Okay... Is there a specific bio sponge and air pump you would recomend?

as for the bio sponge they're pretty much the same, they only differ in sponge size and tube length, the air pump, a whisper works really well

Alright thanks a ton i'll check it out this weekend and see what I can find

Two Aquaclear 110s should be good.
