100g stocklist, what would you do?!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
so far im thinking pair of blood red severums, and a small group of geophagus altifrons? maybe 5?

then a mix of congo tetras and red line torpedo barbs

and a shoal of pictus or with one synodontis on the bottom.

i assume thats me fully stocked?

Thoughts?

Thanks
Matt

I'd get a male Salvini, a male herichthys carpintis and maybe a male cuban with a peacock eel and a school of yoyo loaches

Or [if u want lots of color] a female festae, female salvini and female rtm with the loaches

There are a good amount of options and here are some I'd consider one of these:

CA:

Pair of RTM
Trimac
Group of a. rostratus or a. altifrons
Thorichthys group

SA:

Festae
GT w/ silver dollas and pictus cats
Geos w/ silver dollars and pictus.
Pikes-too many good options to choose

Is it one of the standard 72"x18"18" 100 gallon tanks? Or is it 100 UK gallons? To me the footprint determines what and how many cichlids you can keep more so than the gallonage. I think we are all assuming it's the normal 6 footer, but since you are in the UK, it might be a different sized tank. Dimensions would help greatly.

Tank is 5ft by 18" by 2ft.

i have decieded on a group (7?) og geophagus, one big shoal of tetras and a group of corys maybe?

something very similar to japes tank.

now i have to decide what geo's, im thinking either red heads, altifrons or Satanoperca leucosticta. maybe 2 different species?

Suggestions please guys
thanks
Matt
