i just checked on the NYdec site place thing. im good to take crappies all year, pikerel from the first week of may until march (my guess is they did thaT SO YOU DONT TAKE THEM WHILE THEY ARE BREEDING) i can take sunnies all year. i cant find anything on LMB and im checking on perch now.

im good all year for yellow perch too. i was wondering, all ive caughtall the yers ive been fishing at this private lake we only catch LMB, pikerel, crappie, perch, some catfish every few years, and sunnies(if we have worms) never any rock bass, smallmouths, or anything else at all. does this mean there arent any other species in the lake? ive just switched to usuing tadpoles as bait along woth minnows.

black bass = LMB

Ive heard Yellow Perch make good pets. Some lakes only have what is stocked in them.....is it a stocked or natural lake.

not sure, but was was there today and this guy was ther who takes caRE of the lake and he said theirs rock bass and smallmouth in there he also outa muskelunge or walleye or somethingin there when he was stockingthe crappies( im guessing its stocked)he said its been 40+ years so its natural now.

Rockbass would make a really good pet......theyre very intelligent and can slightly change their colors shade to match surroundings.

A 100 gallon woudl be perfect for Pumpkinseed sunnies, Redbreasts, Some of the bigger shiners, and big chubs.....I am not sure what you want , do you want bottom dwellers, topminnows, sunfish...you can do alot with a 100gallon.
i completely agree.. :)
