I like trying to explain how a CRT TV is still an analog signal in the end. Talk about weird looks

In some ways, CRT monitors still give out the best colors. Maybe one day
CRT's will be high end again much like Vinyl and Turntables are for the audiophiles.

and amazingly enough, Best Buy has a survey that says 90% of customers dont understand HDTV and all that goes into it. but of course the chain stores dont help by not mentioning OTA and pushing Monster cables on people.

the transition would have been much easier if they got the stations (and media) ready then sell the tv's.

Both HD and BR can be ripped thanks to the 360 and BR recorder.

Never buy cables in the store. They're way over priced. The place I got my upscaling DVD player was selling a HDMI cable for $100. I got a similar cable from www.partsexpress.com for less than $20.

crt's rock... too bad theyre not as sexy as flat screens. But they will be in the future.
