i don't know why people keep saying that rams are too hard. i got them to breed w/o trying. my amazon tank must have had the ight params to let them do that, or something.

Rams aren't tough to breed, but they require very specific water conditions.

its kind of a lil too small for a fish that has a potential of growin up to 5-6inches.

Potential size has nothing to do with 'right now size'. :D

A ten gallon is a good size for a breeder tank for convicts. I currently have seven ten gallon breeder tanks with fry. The parents are all under 2.5 inches.

pair of rams...

Kribs are a good choice, they stay small easy to keep and under the right conditions are really attractive

so conficts are easy and how can u tell them apart male/female or should i just buy 4 and hope i get 2 males 2 females

i looked on the internet and it didnt seem to give a lot of info on sexing them

and what conficts are the most atractive do they come in albino
i once kept a 4 inch blue and black confict but then he died

never went back to them and i have never seen diff species

females have orange blotches on their bellies. You will want to only get one male and one female. More than one pair in a ten gallon and they will feel too crowded to breed. Convicts are territorial when they breed and need their space.
