the uv from sunlight gets filtered out by glass so you need a uv lamp and you need co2 injection for pretty much any planted tank.

i say you could get 4 or 5 cories in the ten as long as they arent the species that gets up to 4"(cant remember what its called right now)
hope this helps

That's not true. A lot of people keep low light / hardy planted tanks with no co2 injection.

I recommend a 10g shrimp planted tank. I just set mine and they are quite interesting to watch. :D And they breed like rabbits. (well, cherries and other color morphs of the same species do.)

Nano Salt.

Mantis Shrimp!

Terrarium for Firebellied toads or hermit crabs (Very aesthetically pleasing if you design well and choose the right plants, substrate, wood and rock)

Newts/ Axolotl

Betta Sorority tank

African Butterfly Fish

Hamsters (Lol)

Scorpion or Tarantula

Triops (Shield Shrimp)

Brine Shrimp

A trio of Golden panchax and a Gudgeon, plus a paradise fish (all aggressive)

Inverts (Wood shrimp, rudolph shrimp, amano shrimp, bumblebee shrimp etc)

Small turtles (Musk Turtles)

Aquatic Insects

just go to http://www.aqualandpetsplus.com and have a browse through all their care sheets and see which ones you like.
