Man go eartheater! They grow big, have awesome colors and you can lots of species cohabiting in relative piece.
I plan a 10x3x3 In a years time so interested in what you decide. I will definitely go eartheaters.
By the way, I see some extra space on that wall... 12 footer anyone ;)

The Moba tank is a 180G. I agree that the dark gravel really makes the fish pop. The guy had lighter gravel and changed it out (I think you can see if you search his other videos) and IMO it looks a lot better with the dark substrate.

I also really like the idea of Eartheaters and a mix of other species; a large school of clown loaches for the bottom, and Pink tail Chalceus at the surface would look amazing.
 
Yeah I agree with both of you more and more, I think earth eaters will go great, have a bigger range of fish and make it better visually.

Have been speaking with the tank builder and it looks like I'll be going to a 10x4x2.5 too
 
I'm going to see my tank builder tomorrow, and finalize on everything, so 4 weeks time it will be built. So I need to start building my stand (I'll be using 50x50mm 3mm) I enjoy messing around with steel so I'll try come up with something a little different.

I guess I also need to start collecting some nice drift wood :)

Also I've decided to run 3x 42mm drains and 2x 25mm returns with 2x 10,000 liter pumps.

Next up will need to design the sump. As mentioned it is 6x2x2, how would you design it? And what is all this hype about k1?????
