That beautiful window should be in this weekend. Along with the smaller one. Then the big wait, to let the silicone cure.
By the way VL, I got the glass on a resale and had to pick it up new years day.... I was on the turnpike at 8 in the morning.... Talk about a ghost town that morning

Tank is coming along swimmingly (pun intended)

In all seriousness a certain heart defect runs in my family. I was born with it, and I lived a fairly normal but sheltered life and I couldn't be healthier. That being said my 1st child is 6 weeks old and was just issued a clean bill of health. My biggest fear was passing it on to my son, not to get all preachy but there is a special spot reserved for dads like you!:)

a lot of family means a lot of help to put the large glass in the tank.... they just dont know it yet...

i can't wait to see some pics of how this goes!! glad your boys are doing fine.

My newest addition. The 240 is getting cramped. The longnose is 20 inches long.

Beautiful build. I'm looking at doing one like this once we move but making mine 16' long(need to house a tiger musky that is growing). Could a rear viewing window be added? Reason I ask is I'm planning on putting the tank as a kind of half dividing wall in the basement to divide my firearm/reloading area and rec room area.

got the window set in the tank with the familys help. 5 guys and one of the girls running the door and keeping the kids away for a few minutes, it went pretty smoothly. . should have it siliconed in place later today.

hyrczyk, i think a rear window would be pretty simple, just more bracing on the top to keep it from bowing, youd want braces anyway for a span of 16 foot. im putting 2 braces on top of mine. basically 2 2x4 stood on end toenail screwed to the top plate. also use them to hold my covers up, then a piece of plywood thrown on top and i can do maintanence to the front of the tank with out getting in it.

Got both Windows in today.used 14 tubes of silicone. Now I wait for the cure. The smell wasn't bad at all. Hardley noticable.

The spec sheet says 21 days for full cure. I'm out of town that weekend so it will be a full month. Got some plumbing to do now...
