I was looking at all the first pics and thinking, "Hmmm....seems like the fish is hiding in every single picture. It must be just the way it appears, surely if we had a full tank shot I'd see fish swimming around".

You have some nice fish. That EBJD looks very good. I hope they don't hide from you all the time. Maybe it's just the camera that has them spooked. I can't stand having hiding fish! (I have some hiders too)
No one really hides but the female red cecibal I believe she had eggs behind a piece of plastic drift wood, the male has some very bright yellow coloring and the female is just black, can't get any good photos though. Every so often the apistos will hide but there very active when there hasn't been a recent water change.
