11" Goliath + 18" Armatus = ?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Does you Armatus have a bad attitude? My 10" Armatus grabbed my 9" Marulia and ****ed his world up. If they fish were bigger I would say go for it. The smaller fish would get eaten eventually. If you do not want to lose any of your fish I would not try it. Even if you keep an eye on it, it could be disasterous.

I put 10" Koi into Arm's tank. Nothing happened. YET.

I'll wait for 3-4 days to make sure. My Arm always has bad attitude against slow object like goldfish, my hand, but not things that dart around him. He never eat or attack fast object like Comet or Koi before. I wish I could have some luck with the combination IF my Koi do survive. Yes, IF.

Only one tank I have ever seen this work in. and that was WuChuns but the armatus were about full grown and the GATF was over 2' also.

so it can be done but not sugested.

IMO the TAT will be the first to go. ------So in other words please send him to me. I need more.-----thanks

Since no one else has asked yet can we get some picsof these awsome fish?

well a friend had a 15"GATF in a 150gal with no issues, it was pretty skittish too. just thought you might wanna keep that in mind

This is my Armatus. The one and only in his own tank:

This is my Goliath. This is the best I could get from him:

Now I decided not to move my Armatus for the fear of losing him in the process. I've heard some scary stuffs about water-knocked or pH issues so I decided not to.
