Thanks for the compliments!
Yeah..the touch panel is to control the tanks lights, pumps, UV, powerheads. I set it up that I can enter let's say..20 minutes for feeding, the pumps will turn off and I can feed them and head off to work knowing that the pumps will turn back on after 20 mins.
Its just an add on to my existing control system for my rec room theater stuff.
Tank size are 125g, 72x18x22 for the cichlids, 96x24x24 for the aro's. Yeah I know people are going to say that its too small..blah..blah... But I am planning on a 96x30x24 or 96x36x24 since my doorway is only 30" wide and it's going to be virtually impossilbe to get the tank in if its 36x36 (DxW).
Silver is around 16" or so, black jar is 11", other big jar 12", three other jars range from 7"-9".
Filtration is handled by a 55g DIY W/D, DIY FBF, Ocean Clear 319, Q1 9000 pump and a MAG2400.
Have a UV running 36W Turbo twist, Currents USA Chiller, PRO-Heat titanium heater 800W.
Corallife light fixtures with the exception of the 240g L has an extra set of lights, Current 65W compact light fixture.
Everthing is pretty much DIY, the stand, built in wall look for the 240, also I have 2 other tanks on the right of it that is in the wall too. 30g BR and 40g BR. 40 is holding the baby pbass til he grows out a bit and I break him of eating live feeders. 30g above it is con's that have been breeding..so it's supplying food the pbass atm.
About getting a bigger tank, I may hold off..in 3 years time I get to retire so I might leave the east coast and head out west. So getting another tank would be a waste of time as I won't transport any of my tanks, just the inhabitants.
A few shots of the filtration system etc..
