Actually I think a majority of the pups we all got a hold of are from a differnt female. That female passed in the power outtage. The female I have is the only one in that tank that survived. I was under the impression that this female actually produced nicer looking pups but she didn't produce near the numbers of the other female, her litters were always smaller.
If you dig up Jim's old breeders for sale thread this female stuck out of the bunch like a sore thumb. Looked way nicer to me then the rest. But to get her I had to buy the group.
Well get to work!!! I'd love to see her go to another Marble keeper.
She's not a real active ray.... You could get by keeping her in a temp home till the tank ran. Hell put her up a lil 3x5 pond. I can send a seeded pondfilter with her....
Larger setups only take a weekend to build.
Especially if it's a 3 day weekend.IF anyone is serious about these I have a pond filter I could toss in. Also have a 4x8 framed up pond. Will measure when I get home to see if I can get it out of the filter room without having to move the 750. IF I can I could toss that in too........ Would just need a new liner.

Time to set the record straight.... She isn't hot right now. She's ugly. She WILL be hot once she's been out of that damn pond for 6+ months.
I know it's hard to believe that a pond can just ruin a Marble's pattern, so...... I'm gonna get my buddy Brett to post some before and after pics of my 1st Marble "Scarlette". This girl looked terrible when he recieved her as she was in my pond for years.... You wouldn't even think it to be the same ray.... And he doesn't even use Halides.... Friggin shop lights. There's something with the black liner absorbing all the light and the rays trying to blend with the enviroment.
Ever notice my Juvies to be so much better looking then the adults? Cause they haven't been ruined by a pond.
