Hey guys, sorry it took so long to update, thank you for all the information. Unfortunately, the next day I removed the driftwood to see if I could move her into a different smaller tank but she had already passed. I'd like to think she lived a full life. I'm 21 now soon going to 22 and had her since I was 10 , at first I just wanted a fish but I educated myself on cichlids especially so I becamse a better fish owner as time went on, so she has seen some poor setups and has dealt with some very mean characters along the way as I learned what to do and most of the time what not to do... When she died she was living in a very balanced tank with one other male red Ceibal who she raised basically , some clown loaches, blue rainbows and bristle nose plecostomus, it's funny though the only time I ever seen her sick was when the tank was finally in a peaceful state, maybe she was drama queen.. Aha she was. I've seen her put a 16 inch catfish in it's place, deffinitely was not a fish to be messed with, tanks not the same without her. Thanks guys.
