This hood came with the tank, needs a cleaning i know

I am going to to take off all the silicone and use black silicone, i am also going to re-do the stand and make it PERFECT 8)

Thanks, will do. But the thing is that the trim it plastic made to look like wood, so will it stain it?

No, I was talking about staining the stand to match the frame, not the other way around. There's nothing I know of that you can paint the frame with and still have it look like woodgrain.

I wanted to paint the frame b/c it has some worn out parts and it does not look too nice, i will try to match the stand to the frame then, thanks.
