My dad has huge layout of O gauge and some of his Lionel engines/cars starting in the late 40’s-60’s are probably worth a small fortune. All his grand kids including mine call him Papa Choo Choo, lots of fond memories as a kid when I got help. Much different than helping him work on the car when I was a little kid, which entailed holding the flashlight while he yelled at me, Lol.This is an over all view of the room. You can see I love tunnels. I use the room for board gaming. I’m the fat one in the front left.

Yes. The steam engines smoke. I agree probably cancer causingDo your steam engines have that dealy where you put some sort of liquid in them and they put out "steam"?
I've been out of the hobby for decades and that stuff was probably cancer causing or something. I remember it smelling terrible. BUT it was cool to see the steam engine output steam.
I totally agree. It’s an attention to detail type of hobby. Similar to fish keeping.Model railroading taught me wiring and landscaping and painting and carpentry and etc. and VERY MUCH about budgeting time and money.
Spend a couple of weeks making a couple hundred individually different tiny trees and you'll realize you've got the time and patience for other long term hobbies, like fish keeping.
Yes. The turns are behind the tunnels. I put up some track and a way to display the trains, I’m not using, right above the fish tank. They don’t move. Are the bends hidden behind the tunnels? I dunno G scale but when I was doing HO scale they wanted like a 24-36" radius bend. Yours seem to be 90 degree angles around corners.
Will you please slap together a quick MS Paint or whatever of the layout?
I would have guessed that was an O Scale setup, lol at at a tank and fish making G Scale look small.
