Is there a way to lessen the drop of the water from your filter output to the pond?

From the photo it looks like a drop high enough to cause big waves and thats going to harm looking at the fish...

if you want to see the fish better put sand in.

umm the drop is fine so far and that filter isnt pernament. also i intend to add sand and lotsa wood ive already got people who want to come and fish out of it !
