I just added a second aqua clear 110 to my 90 gallon. My question being should i turn them down a notch to allow for better biological filtration or turn them on full blast to cycle the tank more? any opinions appreciated thanks ;)

with the soon to be monsters you have I would go full blast:)

why would turning it down give better bio filtration?

I would look at your energy bill to see if its worth it...I think the AC110 are about 6 watts (hardly a big consumer) but the air pumps and power heads....

You only really need 1 AC110 (or AC500 renamed) for a 90. I used to use two for a 180 which was more than enough.....and it was full of big fish

Who wants to maintain more filters than whats really needed? I know dont

AC are great filters, and very cost effective and last forever

I always over filter witch leads to less filter maininince in the long run. Aqua clear advertises that if you run the filter slower the water will spend more time in the media and that will lead to more bioligical filtration. 1 AC 110 on a 180 gal. tank is not nearly enuogh Just look at the name of the filter that says it all. The reason I picked up a second for my 90 is that my LFS had a 25% off AC filters sale that was about to end who could pass up a 49 dollar 110 not me :D
