111 LB Spoonbill caught at KY Lake in a net

They netted it, so they are most likely comershel fishermen. its at McDonalds by now or fish sticks.

Spoonbill do not take conventional baits and netting and snagging are said to be the only way to catch these (though I am certain there are a few exceptions but probably not too many) and generally acceptable in waters that allow that type of thing

They are by nature filter feeders but they can get accustomed to eating other items in the water.
