im selling my 12" alligator gar. i bought him blindly not knowing how big they get. so i wont be able to accomodate him for very long. if anyone can let me know. he seems very healthy and i am working on pics. any reasonable offer takes him.

Try this;) . All you have to do is upload them to the gallery and then copy and paste to forum code it gives you at the bottom of the page.

I'd have to agree, looks to be a Florida or Spotted...pretty large difference in max size for those vs Alligators...might change your mind as to whether or not you get rid of it immediately...but then, I don't know what your setup is.
 
oh really! the pet store said gator gar. then i googled it and some looked like it and others not at all. so i wasnt sure. any other opinions on what it is? if its not a gator gar i would like to keep it a while. or get a larger tank. what size tank should a florida or spotted gar be kept in? they get like 4' right?
